This project consisted of the relocation of several healthcare related Federal Government agencies in the DC area to a single campus. The project encompassed a façade and interior fit out of three existing, interconnected buildings on the site. The complex was built within a compressed 22 week schedule to meet the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Mandate.
The electrical scope includes, among other key features, a fully programmable integrated lighting control system (LUTRON) throughout the project. The building also features a consolidated server room supported by a parallel redundant N+1 static UPS system and an N+1 diesel engine generator plant. The electrical portion of this project received a WBC Craftsmanship Award.
