The Brendan Iribe Center for Computer Science & Innovation will be a state of the art computer science building with a unique design and a center piece at the campus of the University of Maryland. This will be yet another building setting the university of Maryland apart from others. A striking presence at the corner of Baltimore Avenue and Campus Drive, the Brendan Iribe Center will be a hub for technology at the heart of a new innovation district, among high-tech companies, and institutional colleagues. The building will have specialized labs that will support groundbreaking research in virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, computer vision, algorithms, programming languages and systems.
Electrical work includes the installation of a new 400kw generator. New medium voltage transformer and switch to serve the new 5000amp switchgear. New fire alarm system, lighting control and lightning protection. The intricate lighting design and layout both interior and exterior will bring out the buildings intricate design as a center piece of not only the university of Maryland but College Park, Maryland as well.
