Freestate Team Wins WBC Craftsmanship Award
Craftsmen from Freestate Electrical Construction Company were recently honored at the Washington Building Congress’ 61st Annual Craftsmanship Awards this past March for their outstanding lighting work at Trump International Hotel at the Old Post Office in Washington, DC.
The 2017 Craftsmanship Awards program received 255 nominations, continuing the long-standing WBC tradition of recognizing craftsmen in all areas of the building trades. Nominated entries were judged by industry evaluators on the basis of creative ingenuity, precision and quality craftsmanship. Factors such as complexity, schedule, level of coordination and technical requirements were considered as part of the overall evaluation.
